Bell Announces Blackberry 8830

Bell and Research In Motion announced last week that Bell will launch this summer the new Blackberry 8830, which is already making its appearance in the United States in particular at T-Mobile. The great characteristic of this apparatus which resembles the Blackberry 8800 of Rogers, is that it is CDMA and GSM.
Bell uses CDMA technology for their cellular while Rogers uses GSM technology. “The Blackberry 8830 World Edition makes it possible to the customers of Bell Mobility to gain on the two tables, with the cover and the line capacities of higher data of the North-American standard ARMC, and the world range of technology GSM” said Wade Oosterman, president of Bell Mobility. It is identical in terms of design and of color to the Rogers Blackberry 8800.
