Speed Up Windows Vista Using Power Options
Posted on 01 May 2007 by admin
Does Vista seem slower than XP to you? A default power setting in the "Power Saver" plan limits the CPU to 50 percent. You can maximize performance with just a few simple steps.
Go to Control Panel - Hardware and Sound and open the Power Options icon.

Click on Change Plan Settings.

Click Change Advanced Power Settings.
Change it to "High Performance" to give it full throttle.
