Add Background Color To Word 2007 Documents

Posted on 19 December 2007 by admin

If you want to spice up your Word documents, a nice way of doing it is to change the background colour of your document from white to another colour.  As a throwback to WordPerfect, every now and then I switch my background to blue and change my characters to white.  Here’s how to do it.

Open your word document and choose Page Layout on the Ribbon, then select page color to select the background color you want.

One of the nice new features of Word 2007 is that if you hover over the colour choice it is automatically previewed in your document.  This also applies to Font changes as well as Font Size changes.

    Nostalgic for WordPerfect?

You are the nerdiest nerd that ever nerded.

    But I love it.
