TV Listings Simplified
Posted on 03 October 2007 by admin
You have most likely heard of apps such as Maxemum, OnTV and FreeGuide to grab TV listings on UBUNTU. My question is why bother with the hassle? Even if it works, what are you really gaining? If you are using a PVR then use Freevo or MythTv and be happy, to see TV listings, go back to basics.
Probably the easiest source for tv listings is;
http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCGrid.do

But by far the most full featured is;
http://www.pogdesign.co.uk/cat/index.php

With CAT you can even see season premieres, schedule a viewing guid and even print it out!
