Apple’s Safari Browser on Windows

Posted on 12 June 2007 by admin

I don’t think anyone saw this day coming.  The Mac Browser Safari on the Windows Platform and running MUCH faster than anything Microsoft or Mozilla have ever produced.

Safari is blazingly fast, so fast that I am awestruck at the performance on any system.  I have tested it on several resource intensive web sites on less than optimal systems and Safari has shone like a bright star!

The setup couldn’t be simpler.  Just go to Apple’s Safari Web Site and download the software.  Launch the installer.

Accept the License Agreement.

Select the location where you would like to install Safari.  I also recommend installing the Apple Software Update to keep your browser and iTunes up to date.  The program will update any Apple software on your computer.

Also install the Bonjour service as it extends the browser’s capabilities to extend to your peripherals and networks.

Click Next and Safari will install.

You will see the Completion Screen.  Click Finish.
You can now launch Safari from the Desktop Icon or from the Start Menu.  Here are some screenshots of Safari in action.
